The Maryland Delegate Scholarship is offered to Maryland residents who plan to pursue a postsecondary credential full-time (12+ credits undergraduate or 9+ credits graduate per semester) or part-time (6-11 credits undergraduate or 6-8 credits graduate per semester) at a two-year or four-year Maryland college, university or private career school.
Senatorial and Delegate Scholarships
Senatorial awards are automatically renewable -- no need to re-apply if you received a Senate award last year. Delegate scholarship winners, however, must re-apply every year.
You may access the Senatorial and Delegate Scholarship application by clicking here. Once submitted, the application will be shared with Senator Rosapepe and all three Delegates: Delegate Barnes, Delegate Lehman, and Delegate Peña-Melnyk.
Please note that Delegate Scholarships do not automatically renew. Students must submit a new application each academic year to remain eligible.
The application for the Senatorial and Delegates' Scholarship for the 2026-2027 academic year will close May of 2026. Those awarded scholarships will hear about the status of their scholarship in August or before the start of the new school year.
